The 107 Hoover Criminals Gang originated in the 1970s, around 107th Street and Hoover Street, between Vermont Ave and Figueroa Ave. They often refer to themselves as 107 Groove Gang, to pay homage to the original“Hoover Groovers.“However, the Hoover Groovers eventually turned Crips (Hoover Gang Crips), and later turned Criminals (Hoover Criminals Gang).
