What is e-learning or online learning?
According to the elearninginc.gov, "eLearning is learning utilizing electronic technologies to access educational curriculum outside of a traditional classroom. In most cases, it refers to a course, program or degree delivered completely online." The e-learning offered here at the city of Houston ranges from tailored specific online training for the various departments to compliance training, for example E-150 Workplace Discrimination and Harassment. All of our online training is place in our Talent Management System (TMS).
