    Can someone tell me what is the TARE weight (empty weight) of a 25 lb tank of 410a? That is an empty tank of 410a with no freon in it?

    You can, however.

    The Tare Weight (TW) is stamped into the cylinder somewhere.

    Each cylinder is slightly different.

    New virgin refrigerant cylinders (25/30lbs) only have a net weight labeled on them - in the case of your 410a cylinder, it's 25lbs.

    A full 410a (25lb cylinder) weighs about - 34lbs 2 oz (gross weight)
    subtracting the weight of the refrigerent - 25 lbs 0 oz (net weight)
    so the approx. empty container weight - 9 lbs 2 oz (tare weight)

    Negative. Not ALL of them do- I’m sitting here staring at one- that’s the reason I entered this thread. Especially the newer cans. I ordered one from amazon also with NO Tate weight anywhere to be found 👍
