National Signing Day: Boise State football completes 2024 class (2024)

Boise State put together the highest-rated recruiting class ever by a current Mountain West program, headlined by a pair of five-star transfers.

BOISE, Idaho — Head coach Spencer Danielson and the new Boise State football coaching staff completed its first signing class on Wednesday, reeling in a group of newcomers that ranks first among Mountain West programs.

After inking 18 players as part of early National Signing Day in December – 16 out of high school – the Broncos went full steam into the transfer portal and turned heads. The 2024 signee roster now sits as 27.

Newcomers include a former five-star quarterback, wide receivers with Big Ten and SEC experience and even a pair of defensive line products from the Treasure Valley. Spring practice kicks off March 5, with the spring game on The Blue scheduled for April 13.

Not only did Boise State impress with its final National Signing Day list, but its offseason success also grabbed the attention of Bronco Nation. A program spokesperson on Wednesday said Boise State has more than 1,000 new deposits for season tickets and renewals are two months ahead of last year.
